Pressure of the main burner for diesel hydrogenation fuel gas

What should be the appropriate pressure before the main burner valve, after the fuel gas control valve of the heating furnace? What is the purpose of this? I’m seeking advice. I only know that the pressure shouldn’t be too low, as that can cause backflow; does it also affect the quality of combustion? . .
