Dear sea friends, I would like to ask about the design principles for pinch points in heat exchanger network optimization: “(1) No utility coolers should be installed above the pinch point.”； (2) No utility heaters should be installed below the pinch point ； (3) There should be no heat transfer across the pinch point. ”How should three sentences be understood?
It’s this part I don’t understand. Could you explain it with practical examples?
