Is the nitrogen seal valve installed on top of the storage tank or on the ground of the tank? Can it be installed on the riser? Are there any requirements regarding straight pipe sections before and after the nitrogen seal valve, or any other requirements?
It must be installed at the top of the storage tank; if it is installed at the bottom of the tank, the regulation will not be as precise. The pressure is already several hundred pascals. Additionally, if the nitrogen seal valve is located at the bottom of the tank, it may cause the liquid present in the gas inside the tank to condense in the vertical pipe. A nitrogen seal valve is essentially a self-acting pressure control valve, and no straight pipe section is required for its installation.
