Dear colleagues and friends, recently I’ve worked on several projects involving the modification of samplers/sampling valves; I’d like to share some insights I’ve gained from these experiences； The user previously used a faucet-type open sampling method ； During its inspection, the Environmental Protection Agency found that the VOC levels were above the allowed limits; further testing revealed that the medium contained benzene, a Class 1 carcinogen that is highly toxic ； It is said that there are strict emission requirements in terms of environmental protection ； Therefore, the environmental protection agency requires that corrective actions be taken within a specified time frame to ensure that sampling is carried out in a sealed manner, so as to prevent the generation of waste liquids during sampling, thereby reducing leaks and emissions and avoiding the need for secondary treatment.
