I. Basic requirements for moderators
1.1 Be an honest person, practice what one preaches, use civilized language, be responsible, eager to help members resolve issues, share valuable content, and have a fondness for the Haichuan Forum.
1.2 Have posted at least 88 valid topic posts, been online for over 88 hours, accumulated at least 500 points, and have fully understood all rules and regulations of the forum as well as integrated into its atmosphere. 1.3 After the application is approved, the applicant must be able to serve the forum for at least six months, with no less than 80 hours of online time per month! 1.4 In case of difficulties in developing the relevant forums, the applicant should be willing to actively seek solutions. 1.5 The applicant must agree to the forum’s various rules and regulations and be willing to serve all members selflessly. 1.6 The applicant must be willing to go through a three-month trial period; if there are no issues during this period, they will be promoted to an official moderator. 1.7 Understand the basic overview of the forum as well as its content requirements. 1.8 Be lenient but strict with members, properly safeguard their rights and interests, and strive to prevent any unhealthy or inappropriate behavior within the forum. II. Application for Moderator Role 2.1 Methods for applying to be a moderator: 1) Self-application by members (when submitting an application, it is necessary to inform the moderator of the respective section via in-forum messaging and communicate with them). 2) Recommendation by current administrators. 3) Direct appointment by the forum. 4) Recommendation by other members. 2.2 Format of the application: 1) Applicant’s ID. 2) The section for which the applicant wishes to apply. 3) The applicant’s skills and strengths. 4) The average daily online time of the applicant. 5) Whether the applicant has experience in website management or forum administration. 6) Whether the applicant is currently working on any other similar forums (if so, please specify; do not hide this information). 7) Whether the applicant has read and understood the forum’s rules and guidelines for the relevant sections. 8) Whether the applicant has read and understood the forum’s regulations regarding moderator applications and management. 9) The applicant’s performance in the section they are applying for. 10) The applicant’s suggestions for the development and improvement of the section they are applying for. 2.3 Evaluation of moderator applications: 1) Applicants should first communicate with the moderator of the section they are applying for before submitting their application. 2) After the application post is posted, the moderator of that section should reply with their opinions. 3) Once approved by the forum’s leadership, the applicant will be appointed as a moderator, with a term of three months, starting from the date of approval. If the moderators of the RealXL main area fail to meet the requirements set for the evaluation period, they have the right to request a delay or the dismissal of those moderators from the Design and Coordination Department
