Mechanical installation is expected to be completed in September. On July 9, 2025, the first lifting operation of the \"Donghua Furnace\" for China National Chemical Corporation Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.’s biomass gasification pilot project was successful, marking the full entry of the project into the installation phase. Mechanical completion is expected to be achieved smoothly in September. As a key equipment for the project, the main body of the \"Donghua Furnace\" weighs 32 tons. On July 26, 2024, the launch ceremony for Donghua’s biomass pressurized gasification technology was held. This is a highly innovative and groundbreaking cutting-edge technology that will address the many challenges associated with traditional biomass gasification, opening up new avenues for the utilization of biomass as well as providing new methods for the production of green chemicals. Biomass gasification technology enables the resourceful and high-value utilization of agricultural and forestry waste, aligns with the principles of the circular economy policy, and serves as a good model for replication. Once this technology is successfully applied, it will not only contribute to the utilization of new energy sources and the production of green chemicals, but also provide important technical support for the company’s future development of new energy projects. On March 1, 2025, the kick-off meeting for the biomass gasification pilot development project of Sinochem (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Co., Ltd. was held at Sinochem Donghua Inner Mongolia New Materials Company. In November 2024, a pre-submission public notice was issued for the pilot-scale development project of biomass gasification by Sinochem (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Co., Ltd. The details are as follows: The project plans to reserve space within the currently under-construction ethylene glycol plant site to build a pilot plant capable of processing 100 tons of biomass per day. The effectiveness of this pilot plant will be evaluated based on the composition of the syngas produced by it, with an annual operating time of 2000 hours. The project adopts the pressurized pure oxygen fluidized bed gasification technology route. Project Name: Pilot-scale Development Project for Biomass Gasification by Sinochem (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Co., Ltd. Location: Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Contractor: Sinochem (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Co., Ltd. Scale and Scope of the Project: Construction of a pilot-scale biomass gasification unit with a capacity of 100 tons per day, including facilities such as the main biomass gasification unit, biomass storage areas, slag storage areas, and control cabinet rooms. Zhonghua Chemical (Inner Mongolia) New Materials Co., Ltd. is a key investment project of China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Corporation; Donghua Technology and Yulin Chemical are responsible for the actual funding, with Donghua Technology holding 60% of the shares and Yulin Chemical holding 40%.
