I currently have a gas metal rotameter, similar to the one shown in the picture. The operating pressure specified during its design was 5 kilograms, but due to changed conditions, the actual operating pressure is now around 1 kilogram. The volume flow rate indicated by it seems to be higher than the actual flow rate. I would like to ask if there is any program available for such rotameters to allow fine adjustment of their operating pressure
Is it possible to display the actual flow rate at non-calibrated pressures? If correction is desired, one can directly apply the formula to adjust the pressure, or adjust the result in the remote PLC, with the corrected value displayed on the human-machine interface. Direct correction on the instrument display? I’ve never seen that! I’m afraid not; ask the manufacturer

Thank you. Do you mean that I should ask the manufacturer to provide me with their formula for calculating flow rate, so that I can multiply the displayed value by a correction factor based on pressure changes?
