Are there any standard procedures or guidelines for calibrating the high and low pressure valves of a steam turbine, and are there any requirements regarding parameter settings on the control station? Currently, calibrating the high and low pressure valves of the company’s turbines has become a problem; the results of each calibration are different, and the performance in actual use is not good.
Is it the speed control valve of the turbine? Is it an electric valve or a electro-hydraulic valve?
What brand of electro-hydraulic valve? Is it a Wardwood electro-hydraulic valve? This needs to be set using a handheld controller

For our Wardwood speed control valves in the turbines, the valve closing position does not correspond to 4mA. It requires the turbine to maintain an open position at a minimum speed. In other words, at 4 mA, the valve actually has a certain degree of opening. 4-20mA corresponding to an oil pressure of 0.15-0.45MPa. Do you also need to set a valve opening for a minimum rotational speed of the turbine? Is it also set in this way? My knowledge of steam turbines is limited to the equipment I have used. . .
Generally, calibrating the high and low pressure valves has nothing to do with parameter settings; it is related to electric-hydraulic conversion, hydraulic actuators, and the connections to the control valves. Inspection should start with these aspects. For electronic throttle systems with valve position feedback, it is sometimes necessary to adjust the parameters in the feedback control, but generally these are already set at the time of manufacture. These are the only things that come to mind based on my own usage experience; they are provided for your reference only.

The maximum and minimum opening angles of the valve are easy to calibrate; it is the intermediate opening angles that are difficult to calibrate.
