As a regular user with less than 5,000 points, which one should be chosen? Easy to maintain in the long term
The IO modules used in 800F and 800xA are the same; only the CPUs differ. From a beginner’s perspective, the 800F is easy to get started with, while the 800xA is a bit more difficult. From a functional perspective, 800xA is more powerful. From what I know, 800F is more commonly used in China, while 800xA is more widely used abroad. These two were developed on different platforms. As I’ve heard before, 800xA evolved from ABB’s own systems, while 800F was developed from systems acquired by the company. I haven’t been involved in DCS programming for over a decade, so I’m not very familiar with the detailed specifics
