Comparison between domestic SIS and foreign SIS

Recently, in order to meet the requirements for rectification set by the external inspection experts, the auxiliary control panel of the original SIS system had to be moved to a location farther away from the SIS system cabinets. Upon consulting the manufacturer, it was found that using remote IO racks is equivalent to purchasing a new SIS system. Moreover, since the original SIS system is no longer in use, and the new products are not compatible with it, it seems that we have no choice but to follow their instructions; we have to pay whatever they demand. The original SIS system was a foreign-brand product; the price of purchasing a new one is equivalent to that of buying a new SIS system from a top domestic brand. There is a desire to make a complete change and get rid of the constraints imposed by foreign brands, but I am not familiar with the performance of domestic SIS systems in terms of stability, reliability, and the rationality of their design. I would appreciate it if anyone with relevant experience could offer some advice; feel free to share your thoughts.

A set of high-end foreign SIS systems – after using them for over a year, I encountered a problem with the DO card that required replacement, which changed my view on the quality of imported products. There are two SIS systems available in the domestic market; they can be considered for small and medium-sized installations (we use one of them). As for large-scale installations, could those who have used them share their experiences?
This is similar to an expansion of a SIS system and falls under the after-sales service provided by the system manufacturer; therefore, the quote will definitely differ from that for a new project. Whether domestically or internationally, the pricing for service projects will definitely be much higher than that for new projects. It’s like getting on a stolen ship and then buying a drink from the ship’s captain.

1. If the auxiliary control panel to be moved is not far from the cabinet, it can be connected to the cabinet via hard wiring, which is the most cost-effective option. 2. If the number of points in the current SIS is small and the device’s \"importance\" is not high, domestic SIS can be used entirely. Domestic SIS has seen rapid development in recent years.
The original control room was located within the production facility and was not designed to withstand violent conditions; therefore, it needed to be relocated. The current anti-violence control room is located about 1,300 meters away (with fiber optic connections). Although the regulations don’t seem to require that the SIS auxiliary control panel be located next to the SIS operation station, it’s better to make the necessary adjustments right away, so as not to test the patience of the external inspection experts.
