Now the ratio of different types of coal used in the top dressing can no longer be seen. At our company, the top dressing currently consists of about 5% lean coal of 4.3 meters in length; 20-30% semi-coking coal, 20-30% rich coal, around 30% coking coal, and about 5% Shaanxi coal with low ash and sulfur content. It’s considered quasi-first-grade coke, but its appearance is not very good – there’s a lot of coke dust and the coke pieces are small in size. The caking index of the coal fed into the furnace is over 70. Do any of you have any suggestions or opinions?
How much G-value is needed for top mounting? Is 70 not enough?
