Prices of imported coking coal from Canada and the United States remained high and stable, while prices of imported Russian blast furnace coal also remained high and stable； Regarding the import of thermal coal, import quotas are almost exhausted, terminal purchasing intentions are low at the end of the year, and the prices of imported Indonesian and Australian coal remain stable for now. Regarding imported coking coal: With the annual quota exhausted and import policies imposing restrictions, transactions in the market for imported coking coal are currently modest; under these import quota restrictions, prices tend to remain stable at low levels. In terms of prices, the current price for Class 1 coking coal imported from Australia is steady at $108, while the price for Class 2 coal remains steady at $97. Due to quota restrictions, there are few inquiries for Australian coal in both the domestic and international markets ； The ports have completed the customs clearance process; imported coking coal is in short supply. The number of ships waiting in the port harbors continues to rise, and Australian coal ships unable to dock. Since June, most of the coking coal ships arriving at ports in the Hebei region have been unable to unload their cargo and are still waiting in the harbors. Currently, there are nearly 4 million tons of coking coal ships waiting in these harbors. Regarding the import of Mongolian coal, the pandemic has recently affected vehicles at the border crossings in Mongolia; as a result, the overall price of imported Mongolian coal remains stable for now. Demand is high, with the price of raw Mongolian coal at the Gankhmondu border crossing being 850 ； The price for pickled clean coal at Meng 5, including taxes and for pickup in situ, is 1,080 yuan, while the price in Shaheyi, Qian’an, Hebei is 1,410 yuan. The price of imported Canadian coking coal remains stable at CFR $158 per ton; there is high demand in the market for quotes, and miners are raising their prices rapidly ； The import price of Russian K10 remains stable at CFR $122 per ton. Regarding imported smokeless blast coal: There are few inquiries and offers for Australian blast coal at present, while there is a strong bullish sentiment regarding Russian blast coal, with a high number of inquiries and offers; mine sales are performing well. Domestic blast coal prices are high due to strong market demand. Currently, the price of smokeless blast furnace coal in Russia is around $95 per ton for grade A12V12S0.8CFR93-95. In Australia, the prices are A9.5, V11-13, S0.5, with an HGI of 85, at $87-89.5 per ton CFR. Regarding the import of thermal coal, limited by the approaching exhaustion of quotas at the end of the year, demand for imported coal among end-users has decreased recently. The price of Indonesian coal has stabilized after a significant increase in previous periods, and there is a strong atmosphere of caution in the market; the Q3800 FOB price for Indonesian thermal coal is 28.5–29.5 dollars per ton.
