Ejiaok Banner Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd.’s project for producing 240,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol from coke oven gas

On April 28, 2017, Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. and Etoke Banner Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. signed an engineering design contract for the \"240,000 tons per year ethylene glycol production project using coke oven gas\" at the Hualu Building. Han Bing, the general manager of the company, and Fan Sanwei, the chairman of Jianyuan Coal Coking, signed the contract on behalf of both parties. This project utilizes the process technology of Shanghai Pujing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. Using 64,500 Nm3/h of coke oven gas as raw material, it goes through processes such as storage in gas tanks, pressurization, non-catalytic conversion with pure oxygen, desulfurization and decarbonization, further desulfurization, syngas separation, ethylene glycol synthesis, and distillation, to produce 240,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol. This project is the first plant designed by our company to produce ethylene glycol using coke oven gas as raw material. Adhering to the philosophy of \"exceeding customer expectations and creating best practices,\" the company will overcome the challenges of a tight schedule and heavy workload to complete the design work with high quality, ensuring the successful construction and commissioning of the project and enhancing our company’s competitiveness in the field of syngas-based ethylene glycol production.
