A brief overview of the main steps involved in replacing the preheating burner in a water-coal slurry gasification furnace – let’s learn together*. Steps to replace the preheating burner with a process burner: Heat the gasification furnace to over 1200 degrees Celsius and maintain this temperature for 4 hours; once it is confirmed that the slag outlet is not blocked, proceed with replacing the burner with a process burner. ⑴ The cooling water hose circulation for the process burner has been established; pressure and flow are normal, and the interlock test was successful. ⑵ Stop preheating the burner. : Shut down the fuel oil: The control room shuts off the fuel oil flow control valve, the on-site operator closes the fuel oil manual valve; after purging with nitrogen, the valve is shut off. Close the compressed air manual valve to stop the supply of compressed air. Shut down fuel gas: The control room closes the fuel gas flow control valve, as well as the manual valves for central and annular fuel gas. (3) Adjust the start-up extractor to maintain a slight negative pressure in the gasifier. (4) Remove the preheating burner and install the process burner, which is now ready for installation, on the gasifier. (5) Open the burner cooling water isolation valve, change the cooling water tee valve from a hose to a rigid pipe, and close the manual valve for the burner cooling water hose. After the flow rate, pressure, and operation of the burner cooling water are stabilized, the interlock for the burner cooling water system is activated. (6) Initialize according to the ignition sequencing, and start ignition by feeding material.
