Hubei and Hunan regions: The methanol market is operating steadily. The prevailing price in Hubei is between 2,430 and 2,500 yuan per ton; this represents the ex-plant prices of major manufacturers in the lower price range, while some traders in Wuhan offer prices for the higher end of this range ; Some negotiations in the Hunan region are around 2,600–2,650 yuan per ton, according to quotes from traders in Changsha. Fujian region: The methanol spot market is stable; currently, some suppliers in Xiamen and Quangang are offering prices around 2560–2570 yuan per ton, with moderate levels of transaction activity in the spot market. Northern Shandong region: The mainstream ex-factory prices for enterprises in central and eastern Shandong have increased by 20 yuan, ranging around 2360–2370 yuan per ton ; Traders remain optimistic, with transaction prices in nearby areas such as Dongying and Zibo ranging from 2370 to 2420 yuan per ton.
