Issues regarding the compressor outlet temperature in CO-containing media

In the cryogenic methanol washing process package provided by Linde, the outlet temperature of the recycle gas compressor is required to be below 120°C. The reason is to avoid CO carburization. I would like to ask the experts: does carbon deposition occur during the actual operation of the device? Is it required that the compressor outlet temperature be below 120°C? The feed gas for methanol synthesis contains large amounts of CO, but the compressor does not have any requirements regarding this, and the outlet temperature can reach 160–180°C. So, why isn’t carbon precipitation considered here? During the actual operation of the methanol plant, what is the outlet temperature, and is carbon deposition occurring? I would appreciate the advice from all of you experts. Thank you.
Don’t worry. Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth. Additionally, the requirements for centrifuges and compressors are different.
