According to news from August 7, 2025, **information from the Intellectual Property Office shows that Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., Ltd. has filed a patent application titled “A Method for Recovering Carbon Dioxide from Exhaust Gases in Low-Temperature Methanol Wash Processes”. The publication number is CN120423550A, and the application was submitted in April 2025.** The patent abstract indicates that this invention relates to the field of liquid carbon dioxide production technology, and more specifically to a method for recovering carbon dioxide from waste gases generated in low-temperature methanol washing processes. The method includes the following steps: (1) The waste gases from low-temperature methanol washing are used as feed gas; after pre-desulfurization and adsorption, they are compressed in multiple stages to produce compressed gases in various streams ； (2) The compressed gas from some branches is purified through hydrolysis, desulfurization, catalytic oxidation, drying, low-temperature liquefaction, and purification to obtain liquefied carbon dioxide A ； (3) The compressed gas from the remaining branch is dried, liquefied at low temperature, and purified to obtain liquefied carbon dioxide B ； (4) Liquid carbon dioxide product is obtained by combining liquefied carbon dioxide A and liquefied carbon dioxide B.
