On April 2, 2019, Saiding Engineering Co., Ltd. entered into an EPC contract for the design, procurement, and construction of a 300,000 tons/year anhydrous tar processing facility with Shanxi Fuma Carbon Materials Technology Co., Ltd. This project uses high-temperature coal tar as raw material and employs atmospheric and vacuum distillation processes to produce modified asphalt and other products, providing raw materials for a new 40,000 tons per year needle coke production facility. The project is located in Jieyou City, Shanxi Province. Its construction is in line with **industrial adjustment policies, and it is expected to generate good economic benefits upon completion. In his speech, Yan Shaowei, general manager of Saiding Company, said that the tar processing project has been the company’s core and competitive business for many years. He expressed gratitude to Fuma Company for its trust and support, adding that Saiding Company has the capability and confidence to turn this project into a high-quality one through the combined efforts of everyone involved ； At the same time, taking this project as an opportunity, we look forward to broader and more long-term cooperation with Magang Group and Luxin Group in the future.
