The project was approved by the Yichang Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau at the end of 2019. On January 21, 2020, the project was reviewed and approved by the Jinmei Group. Huaqiang Chemical's 550,000-ton ammonia alcohol technology upgrading project has a total investment of 2,994,657,200 yuan. It is located in Dangyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hubei Province. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase is to upgrade 400,000 tons/year of synthetic ammonia, and the second phase is to upgrade 150,000 tons/year of methanol. According to the production indicators required by the device and the quality of raw coal, five sets of φ3842mm, 4.0MPa Saiding crushed coal pressurized gasification furnaces are installed for ammonia synthesis, with 4 on and 1 off for normal production. Methanol is equipped with a crushed coal and pressurized slag gasification furnace. In actual production, the load of the Saiding crushed coal pressurized gasifier is adjusted based on the operation conditions of the crushed coal pressurized slag gasifier. The maximum working condition is when the crushed coal pressurized slag gasifier is not operating, and the five Saiding crushed coal pressurized gasifiers are fully open to meet the annual production requirements of 550,000 tons of ammonia alcohol. ； Similarly, when the crushed coal pressurized slag gasifier reaches full load, the operating load of the crushed coal gasifier is adjusted accordingly.
