On July 6 at 10 a.m., at the construction site for the project aimed at the deep processing of heavy aromatics and polyhydrocarbon petroleum products, the company’s project management department organized personnel from various relevant departments, as well as representatives from the general contractor and supervision unit, to attend a meeting regarding underground obstacles. This marks the official commencement of construction work on the pile foundations and civil engineering for the company’s projects related to the deep processing of heavy aromatics and polyhydrocarbons. It is reported that the heavy aromatics and polyhydrocarbons deep processing project is a downstream renovation project of the Xin Tian Coal Chemical’s coal-to-natural gas project, with a construction capacity of 200,000 tons per year. The project mainly includes a distillation unit, a finished product storage area, oil loading facilities, and a ground scale system, with completion scheduled by the end of April 2021. With the increasing environmental protection requirements, the heavy aromatics and polyhydrocarbons generated during coal-to-natural gas production are classified as hazardous waste under the **List of Hazardous Wastes**. To protect the environment, pursue sustainable development, and meet the needs of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, this company processes these substances further. At the same time, this project lays a solid foundation for the diversification of by-products in Xintian Coal Chemical Industry. Once it is put into operation, it will carry out fractional distillation of heavy aromatics and polyhydrocarbons, producing products such as phenol oil, washing oil, anthracene oil, and coal tar pitch. This improves the marketability of these products, enables more efficient use of resources, and plays an important role in helping the company achieve environmental improvements as well as enhanced economic benefits.
