At 9:00 a.m. on September 19, 2020, the ignition and heating ceremony for the first coke oven in Shanxi Tongzhou Group’s Jinneng Energy company’s 2.15-million-ton integrated coal chemical project was held today. Burning the furnace is a pivotal moment, symbolizing that the first coke oven has been fully constructed and is ready for trial operation. This project is a comprehensive coal chemical complex with an annual production capacity of 2.15 million tons of dry coke, 100,000 tons of LNG, and 100,000 tons of synthetic ammonia. The total investment in this project amounts to 3.6 billion yuan. It represents a green coking project that complies with industrial policies, features advanced technology and equipment, low energy consumption, minimal environmental pollution, high levels of resource utilization, and meets the demands of the market. It is also a key project for the resource transformation in the Qinyuan County Economic and Technological Development Zone.
