The kick-off meeting for the energy management project related to the \"Phase 1 methanol distillation improvement (ethanol reduction) and energy-saving renovation\" carried out by Newao New Energy was held successfully. (hereinafter referred to as \"Chuangju Technology\") took on this project using its energy management approaches, and the kick-off meeting for it was successfully held on July 23rd. Project Overview I. Project Background The first phase of the XinAo New Energy project, which has an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of methanol, began operations in July 2009. It reached full capacity and efficiency by 2011, and has since been operating in a clean and efficient manner. Through years of technological innovation and careful operation, the actual daily production capacity of pure methanol from the first-phase methanol distillation unit has exceeded 2,400 tons. The senior leadership at XinAo New Energy has a forward-looking vision; in order to enhance the company’s competitiveness in the methanol market and broaden the range of applications for its products, they proposed to carry out further modifications to the existing methanol distillation process. The requirement is to, within a reasonable scope of modification, reduce the ethanol content in the pure methanol product and lower steam consumption, while simultaneously increasing the capacity of the distillation unit. II. Renovation Plan: In response to the renovation requirements put forward by Newao New Energy, our company conducted a preliminary investigation of its first-phase methanol distillation unit. Based on the relevant data collected, we developed a renovation plan for Newao New Energy. Through multiple rounds of technical discussions between the two parties, the direction and cooperation model for improving the efficiency of the first-phase methanol distillation unit (by reducing ethanol content) were determined. This approach aims to reduce the ethanol content in the refined methanol product as well as steam consumption, while simultaneously increasing the capacity of the distillation unit, thereby providing new impetus for the company’s development. The contract for this project was signed by both parties in June 2020, and it is expected to be ready for integration with the existing system by the end of April 2021. Live report from the meeting: On July 23, 2020, the key officials from both parties convened a meeting to kick off the energy-saving renovation project aimed at improving the quality of methanol through distillation (reducing ethanol content). The participants had thorough discussions regarding the project implementation plan, established key measures and work plans for its execution, and defined responsibilities and roles, thereby laying a solid foundation for the future progress and implementation of this project. The holding of this meeting represents an important milestone for this project, signaling that it has entered the phase of full implementation. Chuangju Technology will fully cooperate with the owner, working together in good faith and maintaining close communication to ensure that this project is completed successfully on schedule.
