Recently, a review meeting for the 60% scale model of the shift unit for this project, which is under the general contracting of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., was held in Xi’an. The owner, experts from China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., and the company’s professionals attended the review meeting. At the meeting, the professionals and the project owner first verified item by item the changes made to the 30% scale model of the installation. In accordance with the requirements regarding model scale, they conducted a thorough review of the compliance of the process flow, the layout of equipment and pipelines, the routing of electrical and instrumentation trays, as well as the underground pipeline network. Difficult issues were discussed and resolved in collaboration with two experts from Tianchen Company. At the same time, taking into account the actual operational requirements after the installation is put into use, discussions were held regarding the setup of the equipment platform and its connections, as well as the locations designated for maintenance. These arrangements were made to ensure maximum convenience for the owner’s use, while still meeting the requirements of the process design. The successful completion of the 60% model review for the transformation device has laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the next phase of the project.
