On November 3, the Zhongyuan branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation No. 9 Construction Co., Ltd. won the bid for the installation work of Henan Jinma Middle East Energy Co., Ltd.’s 1.8 million tons per year coking project. It is reported that this project is another one following the win by Sinochem 9th Construction Group’s Central Plains Branch in July for the civil engineering work of Henan Jinma Middle East Energy Co., Ltd.’s 1.8 million tons per year coking project; the total value of these two projects awarded to the company amounts to 145 million yuan. The project is located in the fine chemical industry zone in the southern part of the Huling Industrial Cluster Area in Jiyuan City; the proposed site for the factory is on the newly allocated land to the east of Jinma Energy’s existing plant. The project uses washed coking coal as raw material to build one set of regenerative top-loading coke ovens with 2×70 chambers and a height of 7.65m, for the production of metallurgical coke and coke oven gas; simultaneously, 3×130t/h dry quenching facilities are also constructed ； The waste gas undergoes purification processes such as condensation and blowing, desulfurization, ammonium sulfide production, and benzene extraction, to recover related chemical products such as tar, ammonium sulfide, and crude benzene. This specifically includes the process pipelines, equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation for units such as the 1.8 million tons per year coking project’s crude benzene production facility, oil storage tanks, ammonium sulfate production, desulfurization units, cold air compressors, and circulating water systems; as well as the installation of custom-made equipment, along with certain underground pipeline networks and external pipe rack supports. Henan Jinma Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinma Energy”) is a joint venture established by Jinma Energy (**) Co., Ltd., Ma’anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Pinggang Industry Co., Ltd., and Jiyuan Jinma Xingye Investment Co., Ltd. It engages in coking, coal tar processing, benzene processing, and the comprehensive utilization of gas, and is located in the fine chemical industry zone at the southern part of the Huling Industrial Cluster in Jiyuan City.
