Xinjiang Wangjing Long’s ethylene glycol project will use Jinhua furnaces; an official contract was signed with Pu Jing Chemical. According to Qingchuang Jinhua, on October 22, 2020, Xinjiang Wangjing Long Materials Co., Ltd. and Beijing Qingchuang Jinhua Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract in Korla City for the Jinhua Furnace 3.0 high-pressure water gasification process package and related key equipment. The project will use 4 Jinhua furnaces model 3.0 from Beijing Qingchuang Jinhua Technology; the gasification pressure is 6.5 MPa, and the effective gas production capacity per furnace is 100,000 m3/h (CO + H2). The gasification unit is equipped with four units in operation, with no backup unit. According to Pu Jing Chemical, on the same day, Shanghai Pu Jing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract with Xinjiang Wangjinglong New Materials Co., Ltd. for a technical package related to the production of 400,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol from syngas. Pu Jing Chemical provides catalysts and complete process technologies for Xinjiang Wangjing Long. To date, 14 sets have been authorized for Pujing Chemical’s syngas-to-ethylene glycol project. On that day, Xinjiang Wangjing Long New Materials Co., Ltd. signed cooperation agreements with 9 partners regarding investment, process technology, and key equipment. The annual production capacity of 1.3 million tons of PBAT (biodegradable) products for Xinjiang Wangjing Long New Materials Co., Ltd. lies within the Korla Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park in Bortala Prefecture, Xinjiang. It covers an area of 3,875 mu. The construction scale is 1.3 million tons per year of PBAT, 400,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol, and 200,000 tons per year of POM (polyoxymethylene).
