Successful Completion of SIS Commissioning for Yuenenghua Methanol Gasification Unit / Author/Source: Yuenenghua Date: 2020-12-15 Clicks: 23 On December 13, after 27 days of continuous effort, the interlock testing for the SIS (Safety Instrumentation System) of Yuenenghua’s gasification unit was successfully completed, thereby creating the conditions necessary for starting up the methanol gasification unit for operational testing. According to the person in charge of the commissioning site, the company’s and the center’s relevant leaders attached great importance to this commissioning work; they invited domestic experts in gasification as well as patent holders to the plant to provide on-site guidance. At the same time, professionals from various fields such as process engineering, technology, electrical and instrumentation systems, and design were assigned to form a commissioning team to assist on site. To meet the special debugging requirements of this system, the debugging team worked overtime with a meticulous attitude. During this process, they reviewed over a thousand pages of design documents and prepared 58 sets of specialized forms containing debugging details. Ultimately, the debugging was completed in accordance with the plan, and the results met the specified standards. The successful completion of these commissioning tasks has laid a solid foundation for the feeding and trial operation of the gasifier, and it also signifies that the trial operation of this facility has entered its final phase. Next, the facility will focus on anti-freezing and anti-condensation measures as well as the commissioning phase, making every effort to ensure the successful first-time commissioning of the gasifier.
