On December 17, the propylene compressor of the methanol purification unit, as part of the first-phase completion project of the Yulin Energy Chemical Project, was successfully put into operation for the first time under the EPC contract provided by Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. During coordinated operation, the turbine starts by warming up through the main steam pipeline; its startup occurs in 3 stages: low speed, medium speed, and high speed. During operation, parameters such as equipment vibration levels, bearing temperatures, and displacements are monitored. After going through these various operating stages, all the measured parameters meet the design requirements. During the testing phase, the project team was diligent and responsible, promptly coordinating to resolve any issues that arose, ensuring smooth continuity between different stages and maintaining stable operation at each stage. The successful commissioning of the propylene compressor and turbine indicates that the methanol purification unit is now capable of processing gasified feed gas, thereby establishing a pathway for the production of high-quality methanol.
