To ensure an adequate supply of methanol for the commissioning of the DMTO unit as part of the completion projects, the Storage and Transportation Center is responsible for unloading no less than 3,000 tons of methanol per day. The liquid loading and unloading station activated a temporary methanol pump and added 4 temporary unloading cranes, enabling 24/7 unloading operations. The number of methanol trucks unloaded per day has increased from 40 on regular days to nearly 110 at present, resulting in a daily unloading volume of 3,600 tons. With the surge in methanol unloading volumes, while ensuring that the daily handling of 260 shipments of various materials at the liquid loading and unloading station was not affected, operators maintained strict quality control through measures such as thorough inspection of seals, sampling and analysis of each shipment, proportional secondary sampling analysis, random secondary sampling analysis, full analysis in cases where seals were found to be defective, and continuous monitoring using online moisture analyzers. These efforts ensured the provision of high-quality raw materials for the operation of the DMTO unit. To ensure the safe and uninterrupted unloading of methanol, the liquid handling station develops detailed, step-by-step unloading procedures for each type of material and adheres strictly to them. For the unloading of methanol, engineers are on duty at night, while the unloading staff take turns resting and eating. To date, methanol has been unloaded continuously for over 326 hours. The person in charge of the liquid loading and unloading station stated that they will strictly follow the arrangements set by the company and the center, coordinate the process of unloading methanol, and uphold a spirit of hard work and innovation in order to ensure smooth operation of the project.
