Operation of the dry fog dust suppression system for Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy’s dump trucks / Author/Source: Yangmei Zhengyuan Group Date: 2020-12-24 Clicks: 11 On December 4, the dry fog dust suppression system for Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy’s dump trucks was wired and tested, and then put into official use. In the car dumping area, loaded train cars tip over, causing coal to spill out – this is the point where coal is transferred, and it represents a challenge in terms of dust control. To improve environmental protection measures, Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy has installed a new dry fog dust suppression system. During the coal unloading process, this system generates water mist with a diameter of 1–10 microns, creating a dense fog layer that traps the coal dust before it can rise into the air. As a result, the dust level on site is reduced by more than 90%, and the water consumption is less than half that of the traditional spraying systems. This not only helps save water but also enhances the level of environmental management. Today, as one dust-generation point after another has been addressed – such as the loading of urea in bulk, the discharge from urea silos, the head and tail sections of Belt Conveyor No. 5, and the coal unloading at the dump car room – it indicates that Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy’s campaign to control dust through systematic measures has achieved initial success. In future work, Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy will continue to make every effort to advance the achievement of the subsequent goals for this project.
