The construction of a project funded by Wuhai Taihe Group, involving an investment of 10.4 billion yuan to produce 3 million tons of compacted coke per year along with products from its further processing, began. On December 25, the inauguration ceremony for this project was held in Hainan District, as well as for another project funded by Inner Mongolia Huaheng Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which involves an investment of 7 billion yuan to produce 30,000 tons of biodegradable plastic products per year. Yin Zhongqiang, Secretary of the Hainan District Party Committee in Wuhai; Liu Bing, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee; Zhang Dingwei, member of the District Party Committee and deputy district head; Zhou Yuli, deputy chairman of the District Political Consultative Conference; representatives from Wuhai Taihe Group, Zhejiang Huahai Spandex Group, Inner Mongolia Yadong Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., and Hubei Huanggang Huaxing Metallurgical Furnace Co., Ltd.; as well as heads of various relevant departments in Hainan District, attended the opening ceremony. Zhao Yongfei, the deputy district head of the district**, presided over the ceremony. The projects under construction, which involve the production of 3 million tons per year of compacted coke and its further processed products, as well as 30,000 tons per year of biodegradable plastic products, are landmark and exemplary projects for the restructuring, integration, transformation, and upgrading of the coal-coke chemical and chlor-alkali industries. They play a vital role in fostering the clustered and large-scale development of industrial clusters in our region, promoting the efficient and intensive use of resources, and facilitating the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure. These projects add new momentum and vitality to the high-quality economic development of our region, while also offering new pathways for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
