A total of 22 key projects were launched citywide, with a total investment of 10.46 billion yuan. Li Wenrong, Secretary of the Qujing Municipal Party Committee, announced the start of construction of a coking project in Qujing with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons. Zanyi District held commencement ceremonies for 7 key projects simultaneously, namely: Qujing Fukun’s 1.2 million tons per year coking plant, Qujing Lihé’s 100 million cubic meters per year natural gas facility, Qujing Hui Bai’s 3,000 tons per year Yonggu Zi production plant, the infrastructure for the silicone industry park in Zanyi Industrial Park (Phase I), Yunnan Yuanfang Biopharmaceutical Industry Base, Zanyi Xihe ** Wetland Park (Phase II), and the Zanyi campus of Yunnan Industrial Technician College. The total investment for these projects amounts to 6.26 billion yuan.
