In the process of project construction, operation, and management, Zhongtian Hechuang Energy always adheres to the principle of giving equal importance to environmental protection and innovative development. During the project feasibility study phase, the technical approach and product design were thoroughly evaluated, and the impact of project construction on the natural environment and groundwater resources in the project area was carefully assessed; meanwhile, the strictest measures for environmental protection and soil and water conservation were implemented. During the project preparation phase, the company adhered to high standards, a high starting point, and green and low-carbon development. It introduced advanced process technologies as well as innovative techniques in international engineering construction, integrating world-class processes such as GE’s water-coal slurry gasification technology from the United States, Linde’s low-temperature methanol washing purification technology from Germany, Lurgi’s methanol synthesis technology, and the methanol-to-olefins technology developed independently by Sinopec. By doing so, it strived to improve resource utilization rate, achieving the goals of \"two improvements, two reductions, and three advantages\" in project construction. The process technologies and equipment used in this project are among the best in the world today. Combined with S-MTO technology developed independently by Sinopec, the proportion of domestically produced equipment is high, enabling the domestic production of many large-scale units and high-pressure coal slurry pumps. The chemical industry sector focuses on the research, development, and application of domestic production of major equipment. Among them, three projects – the DCS for large-scale coal deep processing, the methanol synthesis gas compression unit, and the large-scale water-cooled/air-cooled methanol synthesis reactor – have passed the appraisal of Sinopec for domestic production achievements. Efforts have been made to improve the technology related to key equipment, resulting in an increasing stability in the operation of individual units. The operational cycle of a single gasification furnace has for the first time exceeded 100 days, while boilers were able to operate for over 180 days without any backup furnaces or additional capacity. By improving boiler efficiency and optimizing the operation of the air-cooling system, the coal consumption of the unit was reduced, saving nearly 40,000 tons of fuel coal. Efforts were made to address the issues related to the quality of water vapor, eliminating potential hazards such as equipment corrosion and salt accumulation resulting from long-term use, which could affect the safe operation of the system. As a result, the quality of water vapor improved significantly, and the operational efficiency of the system was further enhanced. To address issues such as short operating cycles of the gasifier burners, high catalyst consumption, and difficulties in treating wastewater with high ammonia levels, Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Company has launched 14 key scientific and technological projects; the results of the “Ten Dragon” scientific research project are now in the phase of final evaluation. The company also continuously adapts to market changes and actively develops new products; to date, it has completed the development and application of two new products: the specialty material for biaxially oriented polypropylene, F280S, and the heavy-duty film material, LD165.
