During the ceremony, the two parties signed the \"Investment Cooperation Agreement between the Alxa League Administrative Office and Alxa League Hu-Mong Energy Industry Co., Ltd.\" On January 12, Alxa League Humin Energy Industry Co., Ltd. and Alxa League Donghai New Energy Industry Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the procurement and general construction contracts related to the High-Tech New Materials Industrial Park project in the High-Tech Zone; the total value of the contracts signed was 3.5 billion yuan. During the ceremony, Alxa League Humin Energy Industry Co., Ltd. and Alxa League Donghai New Energy Industry Co., Ltd. signed contracts for procurement, general construction, and subcontracting of the High-Tech and New Materials Industrial Park project with China Chemical Sideng Engineering Co., Ltd., China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Sixth Construction Company, Chongqing Industrial Equipment Installation Group Co., Ltd., China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Thirteenth Construction Company, Shaanxi Blower (Group) Co., Ltd., Henan Zhongda Engineering Supervision Co., Ltd., Focus Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., Hubei Huanggang Huaxing Smelting Furnace Co., Ltd., and Hubei Zhongxing Furnace Engineering Co., Ltd. respectively. On December 15, 2020, Alxa League Humong Energy Industry Co., Ltd. and Alxa League Donghai New Energy Industry Co., Ltd. signed project procurement and construction contracts with the construction contractor. The scope of this contract includes a coking project with an annual capacity of 3 million tons, a methanol production plant with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, and a synthetic ammonia plant with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons; the construction period is 289 days. On April 29, 2020, the first phase of Humin Energy Company’s 6 million tons per year coking project in Alxa League began construction. On April 10, 2020, the Management Committee of Alxa High-Tech Zone and Alxa League Humin Energy Industry Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for the new materials industry base project, marking the arrival of yet another investment project worth over 10 billion yuan in the high-tech zone. The High-Tech New Materials Industrial Park is located in the Bayin Aobao Industrial Park of Alxa High-Tech Zone, covering an area of about 4 square kilometers. The total investment is expected to be 22 billion yuan, with construction carried out in three phases to develop projects related to heavy media coal washing, coal coking, methanol production, olefins production, LNG production, advanced processing of tar, activated carbon production, needle coke production, benzene hydrogenation, as well as supporting facilities for environmental protection, safety, and fire control. After the project goes into operation, the total output value will reach around 29 billion, with earnings and taxes amounting to approximately 2.9 billion. A total of 5,400 workers will be employed across all three phases of the project. The planned capacity of the project includes an annual production of 10 million tons of heavy-media washed coal, 6 million tons of compacted coke, 1.8 million tons of methanol, 600,000 tons of olefins, 200,000 tons of LNG, 200,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 300,000 tons of products derived from the deep processing of tar, 150,000 tons of benzene hydrogenation products, 100,000 tons of activated carbon, and 50,000 tons of needle coke ； The first phase of construction includes an annual production capacity of 5 million tons of heavy medium washed coal, 3 million tons of coking products, 400,000 tons of methanol, and 100,000 tons of liquid ammonia. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2021. All planned projects will be completed and put into operation by 2025.
