Clicks: 7. On May 31, Zhong’an United held a completion ceremony for the project aimed at adding plate and frame filter units to its gasification plant. Representatives from six parties, including the Gasification Department, Project Management Department, Nanjing Engineering Company, Yanhua Tianzheng, Ningbo Engineering Company, and Yangzi Supervision, jointly signed the project handover certificate. The addition of these plate and frame filter units was completed safely, on schedule, and to high standards. The new plate and frame filter facility is part of the environmental improvement measures for the Zhongan United gasification plant. Its core equipment consists of 2 plate and frame filters with a filtering area of 1,000㎡ each, which are the filters with the highest processing capacity in this industry. Its function is to carry out filtration and dewatering of the sludge generated after flash evaporation and clarification of the black water produced during the coal gasification process. The moisture content of the filtered filter cake is around 40%, which meets the requirements for the transportation, handling, storage, and reuse of solid materials. It eliminates the environmental risks associated with the transfer of gasification slag and filter cakes, offering significant benefits in terms of energy savings, water conservation, and environmental protection.
