There are 6 slag removers in the boiler area of Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy’s water vehicle workshop, used for discharging slag during boiler operation; each remover has one slag discharge port. Due to certain issues with the original slag discharge outlet of the boiler’s slag cooler during operation, it was modified after research. After modification, its structure is of a slanting downward closed type, at an angle to the slag conveyor belt, with only the very end serving as the slag outlet. The new slag outlet does not come into direct contact with the belt, preventing wear on the belt. At the same time, by reducing the size of the slag outlet, **leakage of ash and slag outside the belt is minimized, thereby reducing the workload for employees. Moreover, it is lined with rubber padding inside, which prevents leakage caused by wear of the slag outlet wall plates due to ash and slag. To date, all the slag discharge ports of the 6 slag coolers have been modified, and they have been in operation for over two months now, with good performance.
