Signing of Cooperation Agreement for Key Coal Deep Processing Projects in Jilin Province Author/Source: Huahua Net Coal Chemicals Date: 2021-06-15 Clicks: 18 Recently, Hebei Xuyang Energy Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xuyang Group (01907), signed an \"Operation and Management Service Agreement\" as well as a \"Project Construction Management and Optimization Service Agreement\" with Jilin Dingyun New Energy Co., Ltd. Under the cooperation agreement, Jilin Dingyun recognizes Xuyang Group’s professional management capabilities and advantages in the fields of coking and coal chemical industry. It has entrusted Xuyang Group Hebei Xuyang with the responsibility for the construction management and operational oversight of its 1.2 million tons per year coking facility and related installations (excluding the LNG project with an annual production capacity of 100 million cubic meters and the dry quenching units), in accordance with the terms of the agreement. Jilin Dingyun is currently constructing 2*60-hole, 5.5-meter-high ramming coke ovens with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons of coke. It also plans to build a project for the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas to produce 100 million cubic meters of LNG (liquefied natural gas), covering an area of 420,000 square meters. The project is located in the Coal Chemical Industry Park in Jiangyuan District, Baishan City, Jilin Province (which is currently applying for upgrade to a provincial-level park and already enjoys the policies applicable to provincial-level industrial parks). It is considered a key project by the provincial, municipal, and district authorities; once completed and put into operation, Jilin Dingyun will become the largest independent enterprise for the deep processing of coal in Jilin Province.
