Date: June 17, 2021. Clicks: 3. Recently, Huating Coal Industry Group has been making every effort to accelerate the construction of this project. To date, the pipeline air purging and low-pressure steam purging of the main units of the project have been completed; the installation of internal tower components, individual testing of pumps and motors, and chemical cleaning are nearing completion. The ground torch lighting test, the oil circulation of the extruder and the three main units, catalyst loading, system airtightness testing, and DCS system commissioning have all been launched. The pipelines for utility materials such as instrument air, compressed air, deionized water, and low-pressure steam have all been installed and are in normal operation. The construction and commissioning of the new circulating water, wastewater, desalinated water, and boiler systems are all progressing as scheduled. The installation of the boiler itself and the desulfurization and dust removal systems for the project has been completed. The main auxiliary equipment of the boiler, such as the high-pressure water pump, high-pressure heaters, and primary and secondary fans, have been installed in place. The hydraulic testing of the boiler body and its construction were carried out successfully, after which the installation of the main steam and main feedwater pipes in the boiler room began, and the integrated ductwork for the boiler system was completed. The commissioning of the circulating water system is progressing smoothly, while the individual tests of the motors in the desalinated water system have been finished. The project of Huating Coal Industry Group to produce 200,000 tons of polypropylene from 600,000 tons of methanol per year has a total investment of 2.883 billion yuan. It is China’s first FMTP technology demonstration project as well as the country’s first fluidized-bed methanol-to-propylene project. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will consume 600,000 tons of methanol per year, enabling annual production of 160,000 tons of polypropylene, 19,000 tons of liquefied gas, 21,000 tons of propane, 14,000 tons of gasoline, 8,000 tons of fuel gas, and 280,000 tons of methyl tert-butyl ether.
