By taking bold initiatives and embracing innovation, it managed to reduce the amount of raw coal required per unit of gas produced from 0.643 T/kNm3 to 0.620 T/kNm3. The residual carbon content was also reduced from 55% to below 35%, representing decreases of 3% and 40% respectively – both figures representing new record lows. The operation of the gasification furnace during these tests, the composition of the syngas, the carbon content in the slag and filter cake, the amount of raw coal required per thousand standard cubic feet of gas produced, and the performance of the ash-water treatment system were all analyzed. Issues and shortcomings were identified, and process parameters were adjusted and optimized promptly to ensure efficient and low-cost operation of the facility. According to data from the dispatch center, as of the time of writing, Furnace B in the gasification process has been in operation for 121 days in a continuous manner, having met its planned production targets. It consumed 0.620 T/kNm3 of raw coal, which lays a solid foundation for achieving the goal of becoming an environmentally friendly enterprise that saves energy, generates revenue, and improves efficiency in 2021.
