On August 18, 2021, an expert review meeting for the feasibility study report of Shuozhou Energy Co., Ltd.’s new project aimed at the clean and differentiated utilization of low-rank coal in a combined heat and power system was held at the Shuaike Building in Taiyuan. Commissioned by Shuozhou Energy Co., Ltd., the expert group reviewed the \"Feasibility Study Report on the New Project for the Clean and Efficient Utilization of Low-Rank Coal through Combined Production\", prepared by the Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. The meeting heard a report from the Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. on the preparation of the Feasibility Study Report. The experts present conducted thorough discussions and evaluations on various aspects, including the significance of the project, production scale, product options, process technology, supply of raw materials and fuel, site conditions for construction, utility and auxiliary facilities, energy conservation, environmental protection, safety, investment estimates, and financial assessments. After thorough discussion and analysis, the expert group concluded that the Feasibility Study Report meets the requirements set out in the \"Methods for Preparing Feasibility Study Reports for Chemical Industry Investment Projects\" issued by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (revised edition in 2012). Meanwhile, suggestions and recommendations were put forward regarding the issues present in the report. The expert group pointed out that it is necessary to further supplement the technical parameters related to the hygas process ； Improvements are made in accordance with the latest policies, standards, and regulations regarding safety, environmental protection, and fire prevention ； Add surrounding site relationship diagrams and optimize the general layout plan ； Further verify investment and product prices, and improve the technical and economic evaluation of the project ； Enhance the intelligence and digitalization level of projects ； Improve the innovation aspects of the project in terms of low carbon emissions and energy efficiency. The Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. stated that it will actively adopt the suggestions and opinions put forward by the experts, and revise and improve the feasibility study report as soon as possible.
