On December 7, Tianji Group successfully completed the settlement of carbon emission quotas for the first compliance period of the national carbon emission trading market, ending with a surplus of 521,414 tons in terms of quota compliance. This carbon emission quota trading was coordinated by Lu’an Chemical Group, with Tianji Group taking the initiative to engage in bulk agreement transactions involving 420,000 tons of quotas. Through policy research and numerous discussions on supply and demand, an agreement was ultimately reached with Xinjiang Guotai Xinhua Chemical Co., Ltd. In recent years, Tianji Group has attached great importance to the management of carbon assets, taking various measures such as technological improvements and management strategies to reduce carbon emissions and promote the green transformation of the enterprise, thereby achieving pollution reduction and carbon cutbacks. After the national carbon emission trading platform was officially launched, the first transaction of 100 tons was carried out on September 16, 2021, as a trial run. At the same time, efforts were made to prepare for bulk agreement transactions, and successful trades were achieved by completing the quota settlement on time, thereby turning energy conservation and carbon reduction into sources of additional profit and fostering simultaneous improvements in both economic and social benefits for enterprises.
