On February 25, Yan’an Energy Chemical held a mobilization meeting for the start of construction of the projects planned for 2022, as well as a coordination meeting for project development in February, to arrange and plan the company’s construction activities for that year. The meeting provided an update on the progress of various tasks since the signing of the contract with the EPC contractor, and discussed solutions to the key issues affecting the construction schedule, in order to ensure the successful completion of the project. It is reported that in 2022, Yan’an Energy Chemical Company had a total of 7 EPC projects under construction, with an overall investment of 225 million yuan. These projects included upgrades to sewage treatment systems, upgrades to wastewater treatment systems related to coal gasification, upgrades to thermal power desulfurization systems, upgrades to wax refining and granulation processes, a new butene-1 production project, a new butyraldehyde storage facility, and upgrades to the exhaust gas treatment system for EPDM rubber production. Apart from the thermoelectric desulfurization technical upgrade project, the remaining 6 EPC projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2022. Once put into operation, they will effectively eliminate operational bottlenecks in the facilities, contributing to a steady improvement in the company’s economic performance.
