To date, the main construction work within the manufacturer’s designated area for the oil and gas recovery compliance upgrade project has been completed. It is understood that the project for upgrading oil and gas recovery systems to meet regulatory standards is one of the company’s key tasks for 2022. The Storage and Transportation Center has established a dedicated task force to identify potential difficulties in advance, address obstacles, focus on the installation process, take proactive actions, and work closely with departments such as the Power Equipment Department and the Electrical and Instrumentation Center to prepare and finalize the technical specifications and agreements related to the equipment. To achieve optimal design, the center actively cooperates with the Technical Quality Department and the design institute in carrying out HAZOP analyses, on-site inspections, drawing reviews, and other related tasks. In addition, the center’s responsible leaders led a team to the CEB manufacturer to oversee equipment production and ensure that the manufacturing and assembly processes progressed as planned. Ultimately, the main equipment such as the CEB incinerator, cylinders, and flame arresters arrived in mid-to-late April. Through the concerted efforts of the dedicated task force, and following intensive on-site construction work, the installation of the CEB incinerator was completed safely and efficiently on April 30. At present, the storage and transportation center will continue to improve its safety management standards. While ensuring safety and quality, it will carry out the installation and commissioning of pipeline valves and electrical instruments as planned, so as to ensure that oil and gas recovery systems are put into operation by the deadlines specified by the company. The completion and improvement project for the first phase of Shaanxi Yanchang China Coal Yulin Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Jingbian Phase II project) involves an investment of 14.413 billion yuan. Using coal and natural gas as raw materials, this project aims to build an integrated facility capable of producing 1.8 million tons per year of methanol, 600,000 tons per year of methanol-to-olefins products, 400,000 tons per year of polypropylene, and 300,000 tons per year of low-density polyethylene/ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (LDPE/EVA). The project is scheduled to be put into operation in the second half of 2020. Once operational, Yueneng Chemical’s polyolefin production capacity will reach 1.9 million tons per year, making it the largest polyolefin production project in Shaanxi Province at present.
