This represents one of the important milestones in the project’s construction, signaling that the installation work has entered its peak phase. The weight of the formaldehyde absorption tower is approximately 120 tons; for lifting, a 500-ton crawler crane is used as the main crane, while an 180-ton crawler crane is used as an auxiliary crane. The synthetic off-gases generated in the acetylene production process will be used as a raw material for methanol production, via desulfurization and hydrogenation processes; subsequently, formaldehyde will be produced using iron-molybdenum catalytic oxidation ； Subsequently, 1,4-butanediol was prepared via the alkyne-aldehyde method using acetylene and formaldehyde as raw materials. Construction scale: This project uses natural gas as a raw material to produce BDO, with a construction scale of 600,000 tons of BDO per year. The project is constructed in two phases, with each phase producing 300,000 tons of BDO per year. Project investment: The total investment for this project is 1,434,022 million yuan (458,955.58 million yuan for Phase 1), of which 59,000 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures; this represents 3.61% of the total project investment.
