Since the completion and operation of the urea plant as part of the second phase of the company’s product structure adjustment project at the beginning of 2019, the supporting facilities for producing 200,000 tons of liquid fertilizer per year were also completed and put into operation after half a year. Due to the ability of liquid fertilizers to improve crop quality and increase yields, they are highly favored by customers, resulting in rising sales year after year. However, since the product packaging is purchased externally, this invisibly increases production costs, resulting in lower economic efficiency. In July 2021, in order to address the high cost of packaging for liquid fertilizers and achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement, the Party committee of Yuxiang Populus company, after thorough market research and technical consultations, decided to produce the packaging materials for liquid fertilizers in-house. Thus, the YXFJC—2021/070 PET bottle manufacturing process was officially approved. Thanks to the efficient cooperation among various departments such as those responsible for technology, equipment, and business affairs, by March 2022, the YXFJG-2021/070 PET bottle manufacturing process project had completed the infrastructure construction, the installation of power supplies and air for bottle blowing as well as cooling pipelines, and the procurement of blow molding machinery. In early April, the urea production workshop coordinated with various departments and equipment manufacturers; after overcoming issues such as overcurrent in the equipment’s heating units and a shortage of staff, it entered the commissioning phase. After a month of testing and operation, the machine is performing well, with a bottle blowing efficiency of 4–6 bottles per minute; the quality rate of the products exceeds 90%, meeting the expected objectives. The successful trial production of the PET bottle manufacturing process means that the company will be able to produce packaging materials for liquid fertilizers on its own, **enhancing the market competitiveness of liquid fertilizers.
