Following a 100-day continuous operation period for Nitration Unit I starting at 1:57 a.m. on May 15, the oxidation process in this unit was shut down at 8:35 p.m. that same day, allowing for scheduled maintenance work. To ensure the orderly progress of the 96 major tasks and 416 minor tasks related to the screen replacement overhaul of the I-nitric acid unit, the Production Management Department has prepared a schedule for the start-up and shutdown procedures in the nitric acid area during this overhaul. It has also ensured proper material balance, and given consideration to the frequent rainy weather recently, it has advised that any repairs to the 35-kilovolt electrical lines be carried out at times suitable for the weather conditions. The major maintenance work for replacing the filters in Nitration Area I will take place from May 16th to May 23rd, over a period of eight days. During this time, tasks such as the replacement of E205, the relocation of the oxygen and nitrogen balance tanks, the relocation of the main control room for Nitration Area III, the repair of 35 kV electrical lines, and the resolution of issues related to the air separation unit will be carried out.
