Recently, with the opening of the inlet valve of Furnace B in the VOCs treatment project and a decrease in the emission levels of non-methane hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides at the outlet monitoring points, it indicates that the VOCs treatment project for exhaust gases from the low-temperature methanol washing process at the Jinshi Park branch is now operational. The VOCs control project at the park’s branch office is an environmental protection initiative aimed at treating the exhaust gases emitted by the low-temperature methanol washing system in order to meet the emission standards. After preliminary research and the selection of a suitable process route, the project team decided to use regenerative oxidation technology. During the construction phase, team members followed their respective responsibilities to ensure construction quality and addressed any issues that arose promptly. Once operational, this project not only reduces environmental emission levels but also generates 2.5 tons of steam per hour, generating annual revenues of over 1.9 million yuan for the company.
