Another important gasification unit for the Jinfeng Xifeng Aviation Kerosene Chemical Project has been installed. Author/Source: Gasification World. Date: May 28, 2022. Clicks: 15. On May 26, at the site of the gasification section of the No. 2 Gasification and Environmental Protection Improvement Project carried out by Jinneng Holding Group’s Jinfeng Xifeng Aviation Company, the water jacket of the first gasifier was successfully lifted into place. It is reported that the water jacket equipment of the gasifier furnace has a total height of 13.2 meters and a net weight of 53.5 tons. The lifting was carried out through the combined effort of a 100-ton crane and four 30-ton chain hoists. To ensure the smooth completion of the lifting operations, the project team held multiple discussions on specialized plans regarding issues such as the selection of cranes and the height of the crane’s boom during lifting, coordinated with the on-site construction units to conduct surveys and measurements, cleared the lifting area in a timely manner, and implemented all necessary safety measures. For the environmental protection comprehensive treatment and renovation of Jinfeng Xifenghang’s (i.e., Jinfeng Wenxi) No. 2 gasification system, 5 φ3600 micro-pressure pure oxygen gasification units were installed to replace the existing 10 φ2650 fixed-bed batch gasifiers; furthermore, the processes in subsequent stages such as semi-water gas desulfurization, shift reaction, decarburization, compression, alkylation, and refrigeration were optimized. Among them, the transformation is a medium-temperature isothermal transformation. In addition, it is equipped with an air separation unit of 16,000 m3/h. The production capacity remains unchanged after the renovation. It is reported that the environmental protection comprehensive improvement project for Unit 2 of the gasification system at Jin Feng Xi Feng Hang Company, part of Jin Neng Holding Group, was carried out as an upgrade in response to the \"2019 Action Plan for Winning the Battle to Protect the Blue Skies in Shanxi Province\" as well as relevant local regulations. It upgrades the gasification process while maintaining the original scale and production capacity; the existing 10 φ2650 intermittent gas generation furnaces are replaced with 5 φ3600 pure-oxygen continuous gasification furnaces, along with a 16,000 Nm3/h cryogenic air separation unit. The subsequent purification, compression, synthesis units, auxiliary production facilities, and utility systems are adapted using the existing infrastructure. The production capacity remains unchanged after the upgrade, offering the company effective ways to reduce production costs, improve environmental management, and optimize its industrial structure.
