Date: 2022-06-09 Clicks: 19 On June 7, the 35 kV power transformation and distribution substation (35 kV transformer, 10 kV busbars, 0.4 kV busbars) for the 200,000-ton-per-year BDO (1,4-butanediol) production project of Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., which is under the general contract of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., was successfully powered up for the first time. This substation is the first 35 kV regional substation in the project to be powered. This successful power connection has created favorable conditions for the commissioning and operation of the air compression nitrogen generation system, as well as for the pipeline purging in the project. At present, the installation and commissioning of the 35 kV BDO and PBS substation areas are in full swing, and power supply is set to be established in the near future. The project team will organize all parties involved to plan systematically and make advance arrangements, striving to accelerate progress while ensuring safety and quality, so as to guarantee the timely completion of the project. On May 20, 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony for the 200,000-ton per year BDO production project of Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was held within the premises of Inner Mongolia Dongyuan Technology Co., Ltd., marking the official start of construction of this project. The project is located on the north side of Phase I of Dongyuan Technology in Inner Mongolia, covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters (225 mu). The total investment in the project amounts to 2.94 billion yuan, with completion and operation planned for 2022. The project utilizes **Guanda technology, and takes advantage of local resources such as lime, electricity, and coal to establish an integrated circular economy industry model based on 1,4-butanediol (BDO) as the key component. Once completed, the maximum production capacity of Dongyuan Technology BDO will reach 400,000 tons. Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shaanxi Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd., signed an EPC contract for the 200,000 tons per year 1,4-butanediol integrated production project of Inner Mongolia Dongjing Bio-Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Contract amount: 25,0600.00 million yuan, with a contract duration of 20 months. The scope of the project includes the production of acetylene from raw material calcium carbide, hydrogen production, and formaldehyde production, as well as the manufacture of high-quality 1,4-butanediol. It mainly comprises an acetylene plant, a formaldehyde facility, a natural gas-based hydrogen production unit, a butanediol plant, and the necessary auxiliary production facilities, all designed to meet the demand of the first-phase project with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of 1,4-butanediol.
