This achievement opens up new possibilities for increasing the production capacity of the company’s BDO products. For several days now, the daily production has remained above 470 tons. Through the previous round of major system maintenance, the second-stage pressure swing adsorption unit was upgraded to improve its efficiency; this enhanced the capacity for processing purified gas and the quality of the product gas, while also increasing the operational flexibility in terms of process control and the quality of the hydrogen produced. It resolved the problem of the hydrogenation unit being unable to operate at high load levels due to insufficient hydrogen processing capacity and substandard product gas quality. The newly purchased BYD feed pump P8201E has also been introduced; it is now in operation and performing well, **reducing the number of times the system had to be shut down due to failures of the BYD feed pumps P8201A/B. The gradual improvement and resolution of these key issues have laid a solid foundation for the long-term, efficient operation of the BDO plants in phases 1 and 2, and they also serve as a strong guarantee for the expansion of BDO production capacity.
