On July 5, the completion inspection meetings for Lunan Chemical’s energy-saving upgrade project for its power system and the 80,000-ton/year polyoxymethylene production project (with an initial capacity of 40,000 tons/year) were held in Conference Room 10 of Building No. 1. An Manlin, deputy chief engineer of the Energy Group; Ye Shengfang, a senior technical expert; Chen Aizhong, deputy director of the Safety Supervision Bureau; as well as heads of relevant departments at the Energy Group, were present at the inspection meeting. Ma Junpeng, chief engineer of Yankuang Energy; company leaders such as Yang Guizhou and Li Zhiyuan, Gao Xianguo, Xu Kaifeng, Lu Yiwu, and Zhang Hengmin also attended the meeting. After watching the company’s promotional video and listening to reports on the progress of the power system energy-saving upgrade project and the 80,000 tons per year polyoxymethylene project (with an initial capacity of 40,000 tons per year), as well as information regarding EPC contracting and supervision, the acceptance team was divided into four specialized groups: a comprehensive group, an engineering group, a production group, and an assets group. These groups conducted an on-site inspection of the two projects and reviewed relevant documents in order to carry out the physical acceptance of the projects. After a 1.5-day inspection, the acceptance team unanimously agreed that the energy-saving upgrade project for the power system at Lunan Chemical, as well as the 80,000-ton/year polyoxymethylene production project (with an initial capacity of 40,000 tons/year), followed proper construction procedures; the project quality was satisfactory, the process design was advanced, the equipment was operating well, production preparations were thorough, the system operated stably, and all indicators met the design requirements. Therefore, they approved the completion of the project.
